This March, in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank, our theme is Help.
Tell us about a time you needed help—and had to decide whether to ask. Or a moment when someone stepped in before you even knew what to say. Maybe you were the one offering help: a meal, a ride, a lifeline, a second chance.
Or maybe you just “couldn’t help yourself.”
Help can be practical or profound. It can come in the form of food, money, wisdom, rescue, or simple presence. It can be welcomed—or resisted. It can save us. It can humble us. It can change the direction of a life.
We’re looking for true stories about the complicated, courageous, sometimes uncomfortable reality of giving and receiving help.
